The app tracks your location solely for the purpose of determining when you are near a place of interest; it does not use your location for any other purpose.

The app stores user-changeable settings in its dedicated internal storage. It also stores the train route information that you download, It does not store any other information, and cannot access any other information that is on your device.

No information about your use of the app, your location, or any other information from your device, can be recorded or sent to us or to anyone else.

We cannot and will not contact you in any way, unless you send a message to us via the contact page on the aboutmyjourney.com website. Even then we will not contact you unless it is for clarification or just to say “thank you” for your input.

Permission to send notifications is used only for the notification that appears to tell you that you are approaching a place of interest.

Permission to make and receive phone calls is needed to allow the app to use your mobile network connection to get data about your route and places of interest. The app cannot actually make, receive or otherwise interact with voice calls.
